For Agencies & Partners
For government agencies, CPA groups and chambers: what's live on Washington Tax Desk, the tools behind it, and ideas you are welcome to use or adapt.
01 · What's live
What's live now
Washington Tax Desk is a free site that explains Washington business taxes in plain English and links each point back to the law and to official guidance.
Plain-English guides on new laws, with citations
Each guide opens with a quick answer, quotes official guidance, cites the statute (quoting it where it matters), and shows the date its sources were checked.
Free initial answer
Anyone can send one Washington tax question and get a free initial answer with our reasoning and sources. A person reviews every free answer before it is sent. If a question needs deeper work, we explain why; any referral is optional, and the referred professional may charge separately.
WA Tax Desk Weekly
An opt-in weekly email on Washington tax changes, with each item linked to its source.
Legislative tracker
Washington tax bills grouped by topic, with status and official links.

03 · Ideas
Ideas partners could use
These are only ideas. Each one points to a Washington Tax Desk page that shows how it might look. If any piece is useful, you are free to use or adapt it.
- A nexus self-check. A short set of questions on physical presence and sales thresholds that points people to the right official page. See the nexus checker preview and the public nexus guide.
- Plain-English summaries beside new rules or notices. A short answer, a table of who's affected, and the exact statute text, placed next to the official notice. See the B&O rates and temporary staffing guides.
- Self-help pages for common questions. One page per topic that people keep asking about, such as due dates, voluntary disclosure or letter rulings. See the due-dates article and the public voluntary disclosure and letter ruling guides.
