84.36.590 - Vitrification equipment Description Personal property located on land owned by the U.S. government at the Hanford reservation is exempt from property tax if it is used exclusively in the performance of a privatization contract to pre-treat, treat, vitrify or immobilize tank waste. The personal property must be used by the person who has a privatization contract to perform tank waste clean-up operations at the Hanford Reservation. Purpose Supports nuclear waste clean-up activities at Hanford.
